Yesterday afternoon, when I reached home after work, I was so hungry and could not find any food left for me to eat. So we went to the Pizza Hut (Sg. Liang) since my hubby was also in need of faster internet connection. I really enjoyed the pizza and to see my family having happy hours together (without any disturbance or calls) is very valuable to me. This is seldom done nowadays as my hubby working time is inconsistent and most of his time is occupied by work and friends. My kids were also having fun, eating as much as they like and kid- talking,chatting among them.
I wish this is happening more often.... yeah... 
Btw, thank you the the Pizza Hut staff who was kind enough to serve us yesterday. Thank you, Francis...

Life is too short....

The past two days have been "menyedihkan" for me and my friends because we received news of people died at young age. Though everyone has hope for long life, it all depends on Allah.
Condolences to both families and semoga roh-roh mereka yang pergi ditempatkan bersama orang-orang yang soleh. Amin......

The fun to write in this fotopages is really something to share with. I was introduced to the world of blogging first, by my hubby and then i have taken a few steps to add something to his blog. If not the photos, I helped him with his English. Though simple English, but compare to my hubby's, I am better if not excellent.
Then a close chubby friend , introduced me with this fotopages which I felt really user friendly for a beginner like me. It started just for fun but now it seems that it is something that I must do whenever I have free time.
One problem that I have is with the photos. I dont have a good camera, though my hubby has one. But he was seldom around so I can not ask for his help to get the photo I want. So I must find ways on how to get my best photo soon.
Last Friday, we have a family gathering at my home, "makan doa Wida' ". This is for my parents, my third sis, my eldest sis with her hubby and two of her elder boys. They are going for "haj" on the 1st Dec, 2007. {Flight no:6}. I cant imagine myself taking care of my own house and family plus my sister's house and three of her children. On top of that, about 10 cars and a lot of flowers to look after. I know the maid can helped with the kids and my be the flowers. But the car???? Gosh...... my hubby is not around all the time, he is too busy with his career, so I guess I will have to do my best. I hope my bros will giving me a hand.
Thinking of my parents leaving us on our own is a sad thing but "aku redha". They are going for a good reason. My mother has never leave me for more than two nights and let alone for one month???? I was the one who left home at a tender age of 12 (1985), to study until I have graduated [1996]. Then I stayed with them for good. Even after my marriage, I chose to stay as other bros and sis were away.
What will I miss about my mum? Of course, her dishes. She is a very good cook and kari is her specialty. Then her company, she is always there when you need someone to talk to. We sit on the verandah together in the afternoon and watched my kids playing around or cycling.
I pray for my parents and family safe journey and their good health. More patience and tawakkal.
To my mum and dad, I love you and will always love you.

Do we need a love-meter?

How do you know if someone really love you?....
Seeing around, sometimes it is hard to believe that you are being loved. How do you know your spouse love you? How do you know your friends love you? How do you know your kids love you?
How do you know your parents love you?
This is really a subjective question which invites subjective answer. Well..., the answer to this is really depending on the individual. To some people loving somebody means you take really good care of them, or shower them with materials etc. Maybe to some people, loving somone means you care for the feeling, not wanting to hurt them and so on. But yet there are people who shows their love just by staying, no matter how deprived they are materially or how hurt their feelings are. Are these still called love or stupid? 
As stated in malay proverb " Tepuk dada tanya iman". The answer is really depending on you...

During the recent "Hari Raya Open House" at my house, all my kids, nephews and nieces gathered and took this shot. Only one nephew missed out because he couldn't resist his "sweet baby sleep". I hope when they all grow old, this kind of rememberance will bring them back all the sweet and blissful childhood that they once have.
When I sit down relaxing with my sisters, once in a while we still talked about of our "sweet and sour" childhood memories. The "wide difference" between now and then has a big impact on our self and our kids. You talked about the financial difficulties back then to them, when now, all they have seen is money only came from the wall (talking about ATM). To them, everything is easy.
In upbringing my kids, I have a lot to be instil and incalcute in their life. Seeing all the influences that surround them, I have to fight in between. Peer influence, media influence, IT influence etc are the most common. I only hope that the positive influence will stay wih them for good.
All parents love their kids. Its just that different parents will give it differently and sometimes due to some constraints, some will have difficulty in showing their love.

I LUV U ALL, AND I KNOW YOUR PARENTS TOO......

Membaca adalah satu tabiat yang perlu kita tanam pada anak-anak kita. Budaya membaca dapat membantu mereka dalam memperluaskan ilmu dan juga dapat menghalang mereka daripada membuat perkara-perkara yang tidak baik.
Minggu lapas, I brought the kids to the Floating Library. Nak tengok kapal besar la konon. Tapi..... what interest my young daughter is the trip using the bus tah pulang. Now and then, she kept on saying.... " aku kan naik bas ".
